A semi truck driver was found dead in his vehicle on September 26 along I-80 in Tooele County, Utah. He was identified as Jaspinder Singh, who had been traveling from California.
The details: Singh's coworker became worried when the truck's GPS showed no movement. Upon investigation, Singh was found unresponsive in the sleeper berth, with lacerations on his neck and legs.
- The Tooele County Attorney’s Office filed charges on October 15 against Jaswinder Singh Dhillon, 46, including criminal homicide and aggravated kidnapping.
- Surveillance videos captured Dhillon’s Mercedes following Singh’s semi for over 60 miles, both in Utah and in locations earlier in Nevada.
- The dash cam footage also showed a light-colored Mercedes with a hooded figure nearby after the trucks had parked together.
