Trucker helps fellow driver, freeing stuck semi on I-80

A traffic cam on Iowa's I-80 at mile marker 184 recently captured a truck in distress. A semi truck got stuck during a U-turn attempt, blocking both lanes on the interstate.

The scene: This happened when the driver tried turning around using the shoulder, only to find the truck crossing paths it couldn't manage.

The incident led to a backup of cars, slowly stretching further back.
Help came from another trucker in a red truck, rescuing the stuck semi, and avoiding a hefty tow fee for the blocked driver.

On the upside: Thanks to quick assistance, the stranded truck was freed without damage or injury, restoring traffic flow on the busy highway.
