Truck taken off the road after inspectors find 24 violations

On Saturday, August 23, 2025, Iowa State Patrol pulled over a combination vehicle in eastern Iowa headed toward Missouri.

The inspection: Troopers from the Commercial Motor Vehicle Unit found a long list of problems during their stop.

  • There were 24 violations recorded during the check.
  • Out of those, nine were serious enough that the truck and driver were placed out of service right on the spot.
