After more than 20 years behind the wheel, Tennessee trucker Todd Odham is working to move from driver to owner-operator, with plans to launch his own company, LTO Logistics LLC, in Kingsport.
The story: Odham, who had to take time off due to health issues, says he’s using his experience to build a company that reflects "hard work, dependability, and opportunity for others."
- He started a GoFundMe to help get his first semi, hoping for a Freightliner Cascadia or Volvo with an APU for comfort on the road.
- The funds raised will help cover the truck, insurance, permits, and other startup costs for LTO Logistics.
- Odham’s goal is not just to drive, but to give other drivers good-paying jobs and support local families.
Looking ahead: The company hopes to partner with local businesses and eventually create more driver jobs in Tennessee. "It’s about building something that lasts — a company that supports families, strengthens the local economy, and opens the door for other drivers like me to grow," Odham says.
The official GoFundMe campaign and business plan are now live, aiming to get LTO Logistics rolling as soon as possible, according to an EIN Presswire release.
