Police in Pennsylvania are on the hunt for a truck driver who has evaded capture for over two weeks. The driver, 46-year-old Lee Dubois, became the subject of a police chase on March 7th after officers tried to stop him due to an active felony warrant.
The chase: Dubois, spotted on Route 209 in Frailey Township, initially attempted to flee from state troopers in his tractor-trailer. The pursuit didn't last long as the truck became stuck on a dirt road.
- After the vehicle was disabled, Dubois managed to escape on foot and has been avoiding authorities since.
The legal side: Prior to the chase, Dubois had a warrant for aggravated assault by motor vehicle. Now, he's also facing charges related to the pursuit along with multiple other offenses.
A quick response from authorities took place, but Dubois remains at large. Anyone with details about his whereabouts is urged to contact the Pennsylvania State Patrol in Jonestown or Schuylkill Haven, reported FOX56 News.
Next steps: The state police continue their search, and citizens are advised to stay alert and report any sightings. Dubois' elusiveness keeps him in the spotlight of local and state police investigations.
