Trash issues threaten closure of I-40 truck parking area

A truck parking area along Interstate 40 in Tennessee is expected to be shut down due to trash problems, according to truck drivers.

What's happening: Signs have appeared at the parking spot near mile marker 102, stating it will close soon because of trash, as confirmed by multiple drivers.

Electronic boards nearby are also displaying messages about the impending closure.
The parking area is still open but may close anytime soon.

No official comment: The Tennessee Department of Transportation and the Tennessee Highway Patrol have not commented on the situation as of November 19.

The clean-up issues at this site are prompting action, and drivers passing through I-40 might need to find alternative parking soon.
