Early Tuesday, June 3rd, a tractor trailer crashed on Interstate 64 in Newport News, Virginia.

What happened: The crash took place around 3:34 a.m. The truck was moving east near Oyster Point Road when the driver reportedly fell asleep at the wheel. The rig drifted off the highway, hit a guardrail, went into a ditch, and struck a few trees.

No serious injuries were reported from the crash.
The driver is facing charges for reckless driving and not keeping the truck under control, according to WAVY.
