Strong winds flip semi truck, driver tragically loses life

Strong winds toppled a semi truck on March 30th, leading to the tragic death of the driver in Valparaiso, Indiana.

The details: Jagbir Singh, a 34-year-old from Ontario, Canada, was inside the cab when the rig flipped at Pratt Industries on Anthony Pratt Drive. Reports indicate Singh was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the accident.

Winds in the area were recorded at up to 80 mph, a critical factor in the accident, according to WGN 9.
Singh was navigating the premises of the warehouse when the truck was overturned by the storm the area experienced that day.

What's next: The Porter County Sheriff’s Office has yet to release further information about the circumstances of the crash.
