The Oklahoma Highway Patrol shared a striking series of images from an accident on April 1st. A pickup truck crashed into the back of a semi trailer on the Turner Turnpike, underlining the perils of speeding.

Crash details: The semi was traveling at around 70 mph when the pickup rammed into it from behind. The impact was significant, tearing off parts of the pickup’s cab.

Miraculously, despite the severe damage, the pickup driver emerged without injuries, thanks in part to wearing a seatbelt.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol emphasized the importance of focusing on the road and adhering to speed limits to prevent such incidents in the future.
