Speeding BMW crashes into semi truck, causing fiery accident

A tragic accident took place early in the morning on October 13th in San Antonio, Texas, involving a BMW and a semi truck.

Here's what happened: The crash occurred around 3:15 a.m. on U.S. Highway 281, near Thousand Oaks Drive, when a BMW sped into the back of the semi truck.

  • The driver of the BMW, identified as 24-year-old Trent Waldrip, died at the scene.
  • The BMW caught fire after the collision, but fortunately, the truck driver was not injured.

The crash has drawn attention due to both the speed involved and the fiery aftermath, as reported by KSAT.

No other vehicles or people were involved in the incident.
