The incident: Around 4:30 a.m. on September 20, one westbound truck veered through the left shoulder barrier, entering the eastbound lanes and colliding with another semi. It happened between Eagle and Edwards.
Drivers involved: The eastbound truck had two occupants who were transported to a local hospital. Their conditions are currently unknown. The westbound truck driver did not report any injuries.
Possible cause: Driver fatigue is suspected but investigators are looking into all possible causes before concluding the investigation, according to CDLLife.
