Semi truck stuck under bridge damages trailer in Grants

A semi truck crashed into a low bridge on Fifth Street in Grants, New Mexico, on the evening of September 18.

The incident: The truck attempted to drive under a railroad bridge between Santa Fe Avenue and San Jose Drive, but got stuck, damaging the trailer.

Crews are currently working to clear the wreckage.
Inspectors will check the bridge's structural integrity before any trains can use it again, reported KOB News.
The incident is still under investigation.

Thankfully, no injuries were reported. Fifth Street will remain closed until the area is cleared and deemed safe.
