Semi-truck rollover in Pennsylvania caught on surveillance footage

A semi-truck rollover in Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, was caught on camera Tuesday afternoon.

The incident: Happened around 3 p.m. on February 18 on Greensburg Pike in North Versailles. Police stated a brake malfunction caused the rig to crash into two poles and roll over near a car wash.

  • The truck was left lying on its side, blocking a section of the road.
  • The driver was immediately taken to the hospital. His condition is unknown.

Surveillance footage: Nearby Splish Splash Car Wash captured the crash on video. The footage shows the truck tipping over in dramatic fashion.

While the cause of the brake failure remains under investigation, the quick response by emergency services ensured no further injuries occurred, according to WPXI News.
