Semi truck crashes into New Jersey gentlemen’s club after collision

Early Friday morning, August 2, a crash between a sedan and a semi truck caused the big rig to plow into a gentlemen’s club in Hampton Borough, New Jersey.

The details: The collision happened on State Route 31 around 5:30 a.m. The force of the crash sent the semi off the road, where it hit a utility pole—bringing down live wires—and then crashed into the side of Obsessions Gentlemen’s Club at 159 State Route 31.

  • Firefighters helped the truck driver get out of the cab after the accident.
  • The sedan driver got out on their own.
  • Both drivers were checked by medical personnel at the scene but declined to go to the hospital.

Aftermath: The club building was left with moderate structural damage, and a Hazmat crew was called in to handle fluid spills. The crash is under investigation by New Jersey State Police and local agencies.

No other injuries were reported in the incident.
