Semi carrying UT football gear crashes on I-30/I-40

A semi truck carrying University of Tennessee football equipment crashed early Sunday morning at the I-30/I-40 interchange in Little Rock, Arkansas.

Details: The accident took place just after 6 a.m. on September 22. The semi collided with another vehicle and smashed into a concrete barrier.

No injuries were reported, but the trailer had to be towed. The equipment was transferred to another trailer for delivery back to Tennessee.

  • Both lanes of traffic were blocked for several hours as crews worked to clear the scene.
  • The cause of the wreck remains unclear.

The truck was returning from a game against the Oklahoma Sooners, according to WBIR News.
