Reason for the stop: Conducted by OPP’s Wellington division in Alma, the pickup was flagged for numerous violations connected to commercial vehicle regulations.
- The vehicle was found to be overweight, lacking the necessary permit.
- Improperly attached cargo raised further concerns.
- Inspection stickers and proof of inspection were not displayed.
- The driver couldn't provide a valid Commercial Vehicle Operator’s Registration (CVOR) certificate.
- Additional charges included missing trailer identification and failing to present required documents.
