Pickup pulling overweight trailer hit with multiple safety violations

Washington State Patrol officers pulled over a pickup truck pulling a trailer on I-5 in Everett and found a long list of violations on July 15.

The details: The pickup and trailer were running 10,000 pounds over the legal weight limit. Officers noticed problems like missing lug nuts, no trailer brakes, no breakaway cable, worn safety chains, and all four trailer tires overweight.
