Pickup driver arrested after pointing gun at semi in Nebraska

A man from Illinois was arrested on June 25th after pointing a handgun at a semi truck driver during a road rage encounter south of Lincoln, Nebraska.

What happened: The incident took place around 1:30 p.m. near Highway 2 and Highway 77. The truck driver told police that a man in a black Ford F150 aimed a handgun at him while both vehicles were driving side-by-side.

Deputies later found the pickup truck and spoke with the driver, 39-year-old Jacob Gumm.
Gumm admitted he was upset, claiming the semi tried to cut him off multiple times, so he pointed his gun at the trucker and rolled down his window.
Deputies found a loaded Glock 23 handgun in his vehicle, according to 1011 Now.

The fallout: Gumm was arrested and taken to the Lancaster County Jail. He faces one count of making terroristic threats. His bond was set at $3,000, and his next court date is scheduled for July 24th.
