Massive marijuana load discovered in Arkansas big rig stop

On February 3, 2025, Arkansas State Police made a significant drug bust on I-40 in Crawford County.

Details: Troopers stopped a big rig for a traffic violation at mile marker 2. It led to a huge discovery: 2,872 pounds of illegal marijuana.

  • The marijuana was found on seven pallets, packed into 107 boxes.
  • The driver, Zhiping Mu, aged 31, was arrested and charged with Trafficking a Controlled Substance and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Zhiping Mu, from Kent, Washington, is being held on a $150,000 bond, reported Arkansas Department of Public Safety.
