'Ice Pick Bandit' strikes truck stop in Tennessee

Vandals slashed tires on eight semi-trucks at a TA Travel Center in Denmark, Tennessee, on the night of September 26. This incident, attributed to the ‘Ice Pick Bandit,’ resulted in 56 destroyed tires.

The details: The Madison County Sheriff's Office is investigating after receiving calls at about 8 a.m. regarding the vandalism.

  • One truck had all 18 of its tires slashed.
  • Similar incidents have occurred at other truck stops in Tennessee and in Arkansas.
