A dramatic scene unfolded on Interstate 16 in Dublin, Georgia, when a new truck driver saved a man's life after his car crashed and caught fire.

The accident: Charles Vickers, with under six months on the job, was driving when a car hit his trailer and got stuck underneath. The crash sparked flames, and Vickers quickly pulled over.

Vickers saw the driver trapped and burning. He ran to the vehicle, pulled the man to safety, and used his extinguisher to put out the flames.
Two other truckers stopped to help, using their own extinguishers.

The scene: "Watching him burn—I couldn’t do that. I just couldn’t live with that on my conscience," Vickers shared, reflecting his natural impulse to assist.

Team effort: The collaboration and quick thinking prevented what could have been a deadly incident, reported WALB News.
