Freight train collides with truck at Louisiana crossing

A freight train collided with a semi-truck stuck on the tracks in Arcadia, Louisiana, on the morning of April 3, 2025.

Driving the news: The Arcadia Police Department (APD) shared video footage of the incident, which happened at the crossing of Hazel and Railroad Ave.

The truck got stuck on the tracks, and although the railroad company was alerted, the train couldn't stop in time.
Luckily, the truck driver managed to get out of the cab before the train hit.
There were no injuries reported from the crash.
