Four people were injured when a semi truck and a train crashed in Union City, Georgia, on Wednesday afternoon, July 9.
What happened: The collision occurred at about 2:24 p.m. near Stonewall Tell Road and Westbrook Road. The impact separated the cab from the trailer, and the train caught fire.
- At least one person inside the semi was thrown out during the wreck.
- Two people in the truck and two people on the train were hurt.
- Three victims have serious injuries, and one is in critical condition.
Fire crews and police responded quickly to the scene. The dramatic aftermath included the truck’s cab split from the trailer and resting in front of the burning train, reported 11Alive.
