Firefighter finds giant python hiding in semi truck engine

A firefighter had to remove a large Burmese python from the engine compartment of a semi truck in Miami-Dade County, Florida, just before noon on August 23rd.

What happened: The snake was discovered while the truck was parked in a lot. A firefighter climbed into the engine bay and carefully pulled the python out by its tail.

The python was stuffed into a bag once it was removed from the truck.
No injuries were reported during the incident.
