A fire broke out early Sunday morning at a truck stop in Michigan City, Indiana, engulfing six semi-trucks in flames.
The details: The blaze started around 2 a.m. at Gallops Truck Stop, quickly spreading to three trucks near fuel pumps and the store.
- Firefighters, including crews from the La Porte County Sheriff’s Office, arrived on the scene and worked together to control the flames.
- Four of the six trucks were completely destroyed before the fire was contained.
What we know: No injuries were reported, and the fire was put out within an hour. The cause is still under investigation.
