FedEx truck overturns after driver falls asleep on I-15

An early morning rollover crash took place on September 18th on northbound I-15 near Exit 33 in Pintura, Utah.

The details: A FedEx driver fell asleep while hauling doubles. The truck sideswiped another semi and the overcorrection led to both trailers overturning onto the grassy shoulder.

  • The driver was on duty while his co-driver was resting.
  • Despite the crash, traffic was minimally affected as the trailers didn't block the road.

Injuries: Both the driver and co-driver were taken to the hospital but suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

Aftermath: Recovery efforts include dragging the overturned trailers back through a roadside fence, according to Fox 13.
