Family-run Indian Creek Express files for Chapter 11 bankruptcy

Indian Creek Express, a family-run trucking business out of Pierce, Colorado, has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection.

The details: The company made its filing on July 28, 2025, in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Colorado.

  • Estimated assets are much lower, just $0 to $50,000.
  • The motor carrier reportedly owes money to less than 50 creditors, including Daimler Truck Financial Services and BMO Bank.

Who they are: Indian Creek Express started in 1998. They specialize in hauling temperature-controlled freight all over the country.
