A semi truck sideswiped a disabled big rig on the shoulder of I-40 near El Reno, Oklahoma, on January 6, 2025, caught on a dash cam video shared by the Oklahoma Highway Patrol (OHP).

Details: The crash occurred around 2:15 p.m. when a trucker, momentarily distracted while reaching for a water bottle, veered into the other truck.

OHP Trooper Kelby Peoples witnessed the incident firsthand as he was driving behind the semi.
