CVSA announces 2025 major inspection and enforcement dates

The Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance (CVSA) has announced its 2025 schedule for major commercial vehicle inspections and enforcement efforts.

Key dates: These activities will occur throughout North America, targeting commercial motor vehicles.

  • International Roadcheck: Scheduled for May 13-15, 2025. This event is the largest targeted enforcement program worldwide, inspecting around 15 trucks and motorcoaches every minute during its 72-hour period.
  • Operation Safe Driver Week: Set for July 13-19, 2025. Law enforcement will look for risky driving behavior by both commercial and passenger vehicle drivers, issuing citations or warnings as needed.
  • Brake Safety Week: Scheduled for August 24-30, 2025. This will include both scheduled and unannounced brake system inspections to identify any brake-system violations.
