On Tuesday, September 9, a cargo ship at Pier G in the Port of Long Beach lost 67 shipping containers, which dropped into the harbor waters.

What happened: The incident took place just after 9 a.m. as video shows the containers falling from the vessel named Mississippi.

No injuries were reported during the incident.
A smaller barge connected to the Mississippi, used for clean air projects, was damaged as the containers came down.
Officials say they are working to figure out what led to the containers falling and have launched an investigation.
