Truckers clash at Ohio truck stop, police intervene

A truck driver faced a scary incident at a Pilot Travel Center in Perrysburg, Ohio, on Tuesday, September 24th.

The encounter: Larry Hutton was entering the truck stop when another driver, Terrance Collins, cut him off twice. Hutton parked and went inside the store.

Not long after, Collins approached him with a metal cheater bar. "He was pointing it at me asking me what my problem was and would I like for him to shove it down my throat," Hutton said.

Police arrived and identified Collins, 50, from Louisiana. He was charged with aggravated menacing but not arrested, according to CDLLife.

Hutton expressed concern for his safety and others on the road, describing Collins as a safety hazard.

What’s next: Collins is scheduled for arraignment on Friday, September 27th.
