Dump truck driver attacked in terrifying road rage incident

A frightening road rage incident took place on October 9th at around 3:30 p.m. in Snyder County, Pennsylvania. A dump truck driver was assaulted by another motorist while on Route 35.

What happened: As the dump truck driver, hauling stones, was driving, he was brake checked by a van. The van driver, angry over a rock hitting his windshield, stopped and confronted the trucker.

  • The confrontation escalated when the van driver jumped onto the truck and began hitting the driver.
  • The assault continued as the attacker opened the door and punched the trucker multiple times, eventually choking him until he lost consciousness.

The suspect: Police are on the hunt for the suspect, who is described as a large man with a dark beard, potentially driving a van with a Virginia license plate, reported PA Homepage.

Fortunately, despite the brutal attack, the truck driver survived, though details about his recovery are still awaited.
