Driver fatigue might have caused a serious crash between two semi trucks on I-70 in Colorado early Friday morning.

The details: The accident happened around 4:30 a.m. on September 20, when a westbound truck crossed the left shoulder barrier into the eastbound lanes, hitting another semi truck.

  • The eastbound truck had two occupants who were taken to a local hospital. Their conditions are unknown.
  • The driver of the westbound truck was not injured.

Investigators are looking into all possible causes of the accident.
