Trucker captures ice-related crash between two cars on I-90

On the morning of March 6, a trucker's dash cam recorded a dramatic accident on I-90 in Washington where black ice led two cars into a crash.

The scene: The incident occurred on eastbound I-90 at mile marker 49. A black car lost control on a patch of ice and veered into a white car, sending both vehicles off the road.

  • The black car was in the far left lane, while the white car was in the next lane over.
  • The truck driver, who captured the accident on his dash cam, immediately stopped to help.

What they're saying: "Please remember there can still be ice in places," WSP Trooper Rick Johnson noted.

The result: Although there were injuries, authorities report that everyone involved is expected to recover.
