A tragic incident unfolded on January 6th at the D&S Oil Company in Ellsworth, Kansas. A 65-year-old man named Rudolph Martinez was fatally struck by a semi-truck.

What happened: Martinez was helping another truck driver navigate a snowy parking lot. In a heartbreaking turn, the truck backed over him, leading to a fatal outcome, according to KAKE News.

The accident occurred around 1 p.m. at a gas station near I-70.
Martinez was also identified as a fellow truck driver.
The driver, a 44-year-old Missouri resident, was not injured in the incident.
