Police foil attempted heist of beef from parked trailer

Police in Philadelphia interrupted an attempted theft of beef from a parked trailer early on Tuesday morning, March 11. Around 2 a.m., suspects backed a box truck to the trailer outside a South 7th Street warehouse.

The attempted heist: Officers arrived before any beef was stolen, prompting the suspects to flee in a getaway vehicle. The pursuit lasted several miles before ending near 4th Street and Girard Avenue.
