About 20 people were taken to the hospital after a multiple-vehicle crash on the New Jersey Turnpike this past Tuesday morning.
What happened: The incident involved six vehicles, including two tractor-trailers, a transit bus, a flatbed truck, a box truck, and a transit van.
- The crash occurred around milepost 54.5 in Bordentown Township, causing significant traffic delays.
- Burlington County dispatchers reported no critical injuries, and thankfully no fatalities were reported.
Details: The accident caused a 3.5-mile backup on the northbound outer roadway. Traffic resumed at about 1:45 p.m. after authorities cleared the scene.
