Man arrested after shooting wild hogs at truck stop

Police arrested Albert Torres, 31, on Friday, December 6th, after he was caught shooting wild hogs at a truck stop in Laredo, Texas.

The scene: The event unfolded around noon at the Flying J truck stop, located at 1011 Beltway Parkway. Officers arrived after receiving reports of gunfire.

  • Torres was found shooting from his pickup truck in the parking lot. He admitted to firing at the hogs.
  • He claimed to have the truck stop manager's permission. However, this didn't prevent his arrest.

What else: During the arrest, police discovered Torres had a vape pen containing THC. This added to his legal troubles.
