Expired plates lead to major drug haul in truck stop

In August 2024, an Ohio State Highway Patrol trooper uncovered a major drug haul during a traffic stop in Madison County.

The discovery: The trooper found over 17.6 pounds of cocaine and 300 pounds of meth in a semi trailer.

  • The drugs have an estimated street value of $14.26 million.
